GM Total Warranty
Every new GM car and light-duty truck is backed by the GM TOTALTM Warranty to correct any defects in material or workmanship occurring during the warranty period. The coverage period is as follows:
3 year/60,000 km (whichever comes first)
4 year/80,000 km (whichever comes first) on Cadillac
5 year/100,000 km (whichever comes first) Powertrain limited warranty on 2002 Cavalier and Sunfire
5 year/160,000 km (whichever comes first) on diesel engine components
